Submit Your ChromaGun 2 Demo Any% Run and Win Cash!

Steam Next Fest is here, and we celebrate the Demo for ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard with a Speedrun Contest!

Run the Demo as fast as you can from start to finish in an Any% Run – meaning you just have to reach the end of the demo, no further collectibles or challenges needed. The fastest runners win prize money, provided by us and our publisher PM Studios, Inc.:

Plus: Anyone not in the top three ranking has the chance to win an additional 250 Euros, decided via raffle!

The Rules Are Simple:

⚠️ No glitches or hacks allowed! Run the demo as is to submit your entry
⚙️ No 3rd party tools affecting gameplay allowed! You'll find all the settings you need in-game
⏱️ Make sure Speedrun Mode is enabled in-game (under Settings => Game => General Settings => Speedrun Mode) and the timer is visible in your submission.
📹 Upload your finished run from start to finish as VOD on YouTube or as a Twitch highlight
📝 Submit your time using the form below and include the link to your VOD
🔄 You can submit several VODs, but only your best time counts towards the raffle
🦄 If someone has the exact same time (also the milliseconds), the entry that was submitted earlier counts
ℹ️ Using the pendulum to increase your jumping speed in the one level does not count as a glitch
⏲️ You're not allowed to reset chambers. In case this is done, the run is no longer timed In-Game Time, but instead Real Time
⏳ Optional: For the pro speedrunners, we have prepared a LiveSplit script, you can find details on this here. Attention: The only relevant time for submission is the ingame timer, even if you use LiveSplit.
⏰ Deadline: March 3, 2025, 6:00 pm CET / 9:00 am PST / 12:00 pm EST / 2:00 am KST / 5:00 pm UTC

Please note: If you want to be sure that your submission is counted, submit your VOD as early as possible. We cannot guarantee that our servers will hold if all entrees submit their VOD right at the deadline.

Just now heard about ChromaGun 2? Here's the idea:

In ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard, you use the titular ChromaGun to paint droids, which are magnetically attracted to walls of the same color. Between deadly tiles, angry droids, color changers, paint removers and catapult pads, try to solve tricky logic puzzles wrapped in a comedic story about friendship, redemption, and the multiverse.
